Scholes hasn't been booked in Europe this season tbf, but his tackling has been a bit
many a time in the league... he's also completely £#%&!ed after 45mins in a high tempo game, & Schalke like to counter.
He was exceptional in the first 45mins of the Chelsea league game, & (imo) the City semi-final, but he runs out of steam quickly, so to need to replace someone after 45 - 60mins of a game regardless of how it's going is risky. I'd think bringing him on might be a better shout - I'd still be happy to see him start though, we're a far better side with Scholes than without.
