It's saved Scholes a few times. If that had been Keane, straight red, Scholes probably a yellow, Gerrard, a wave of play on. You know what refs are like, inconsistent @#%&!s.

He £#%&!ing is.

I was stunned to learn he had never been sent off before.

I can think of 3 or 4 tackles on United players he should've gone for.

the tackle was very late, you could argue it might have been a yellow but he lunged in and he's hurt the bloke. so tough shit.
Yep, I'd also say it's likely that Cole did know what he was doing tbh. Not saying he wanted to break the lads leg, but it's clearly one of them where he's thought 'I'll liven it up here and just dive in no matter what happens with the ball'.

Ugly £#%&!ing cockney @#%&!.*

*I mean Cole, not you Sparkles.

I honestly can't wait to play them mate. They're shit and we're due a good win at Anfield as well this season. They canonly beat us buy 'getting into' us and working hard so if United match for them work ethic we will beat them.

We play them at home in September or October don't we?

Cole was shite in that half anyway, I was hoping United were gonna sign him when we were linked with him but when he signed for Liverpool I wasn't arsed. And looking at it I'm glad we didn't, we've got Nani and Valencia and Cole would only really get a game out wide for us in a 4-4-3, could have played in the middle 3 for us I suppose but despite our midfield problems I don't think we're desperate for Cole where, not like how much we need an Ozil type imo.
Those kind of 'scissor tackles' where a player leaves the floor, jumping in, are nearly always a straight red.Look at Ronaldo's at City where he jumped in, didnt even make contact but still got sent off.Very dangerous tackle.

Agree with the rest, Cole is awful yet the Verm have treated his signing like it's won them the title

What is even more funnier is that the Scousers think Fergie is fixing the league to stop Liverpool...as if they're be contenders!

Just seen the replay again and from the match camera in real time it does look like a red tbf.
