he's not rubbish, but he's not very good at passing or crossing. can't be playing him as well as rashford, martial, lingard, greenwood, pereira, etc.

he's quick and he has a decent shot on him. if he had neither of those, then he'd be rubbish.

I think the reluctance of his team mates to involve him at any time says it all. We literally take any other option possible rather than pass it to him

You have described my team mates in every side i've ever played in.

But I didn't cost £10m tbf.

Loan him out. Nowhere near good enough or ready

Needs a rest really, it was never planned that he would be a regular this soon.

True. He plays well for Wales too tbf to the lad but he’s not good enough right now. He’s a waste of a shirt atm

He’s actually starting to look like he needs a year in the 21’s. I’ve heard Scholes refer to it as “the trick”; James doesn’t have it.

Feel sorry for the lad as he’s been over played and is out of depth starting so many games for a club our size

I said earlier this season when everyone was raving about him, he’s a good squad player but nothing else
Just doesn’t have the quality

Needs taking out even if it’s for Gomes or Chong because he’s offering absolutely nothing at the moment

We badly need a wide right forward in the summer

His final pass is poor, he goes to ground too easily and his reading of the game doesn’t seem great. Giggsy needs to have a word.

He looks like he’s getting swallowed up by the stage.

yep. i'd say this. he needs protecting and surrounding with better, more mature players. Instead like everyone, he's been thrown in at the deep end.

He's a lot better than he's looked recently but like everyone who seems to come here, they start ok but gradually the burden of playing for this club wears you down

He's been overused but he's also pretty average. The fact he's still essentially a first XI pick tells you everything about where United are right now.
