Who's actually quick in the squad aside from James? Rashford I guess?

Lingard should be but actually isn't. Martial never breaks into a sprint so no idea if he's quick or not. Errrr.......

Jesus. We must have the slowest squad in the league.

I see this #@&%! has been written off after however many games we've played.

I'd assumed we'd signed him as a squad player. After the first few games it seems they think he's ready to go straight into the first team.

It's going to be interesting to see how he copes.

In fairness he does look a bit shit, all pace not much of anything else. Chong looks twice the player.

We giving him shit already?

Wowser. Ok.

Wasnt expecting a young lad from the Championship to dominate games for us in his first weeks, but that's just me.

He's got potential. Fast, works his arse off, gets in to good areas.

We're buying players we can mould and who have the profile and desire to succeed.

It will take time. There's something there and that's enough for now.

I've said it plenty, but I'd rather see us go this route than £#%&!ers like Sanchez and Bale.

Don't think anyone's going for it, Sparky.

Dave Corsa made us never trust again.

It's like a dour office manager giving themselves a nickname.

"Hello, Dave? It's Mutchy! ....no, Mutchy!.... hello?....yeah, thats right. Kevin Mutch"

Wrote him off from day one pal. Glorified sprinter.

The fact that Leeds almost signed him in January and no one else was interested speaks volumes. We only signed him on the recommendation of Giggs.

I think he’s looked good

Fast as £#%&!, can pick out a cross, good movement, Welsh, hardworking

He’ll be a useful addition to the squad and gives us something different.

Fred in November 1992.

"Speaks volumes that Sheffield Wednesday didn't take him after a trial and Leeds are willing to sell him to us for £1.2m"

Do you want Maguire more because he's been linked with City and Real Madrid too?

Obviously the jury is still out until he plays competitively in the Premier League, but he has looked good pre-season.

The fact that Spurs had to resort to kicking lumps out of him, so much so that their manager had to apologise for the challenges he was on the receiving end of, because they couldn't get near him is a good sign.

Nope.

It's an example of how daft your reasoning is.

Arguably the greatest player we've ever had attracted no interest from other clubs either.

It means nothing.

Do you use the phrase 'no smoke without fire' a lot too?

People knew who he was - there was concerns about his temperament.

Also, we only ended up signing him by chance pal - they wanted to sign Denis Irwin.

Perhaps learn your history, pal?
