Football Michael Cox's (pretty accurate) take on Saturday's game

I don't know about you lot, but I enjoy reading well-written articles/analyses of the game. If you find any, post them here.

I'll start, with Michael Cox's (pretty accurate) take on Saturday's game:

Got to say I never read any articles about football matches, I just have no interest in the whole analysing football stuff I find it all tedious, especially the sage words, "Transition" "phase" etc zzzz

Why are you offended? It wasn't a pop at you, I just don't find analysis games interesting at all? The sages are absolutely clueless about what football actually is anyway, it's all stats and "phases of play" to them. Utter %@#$&!s. It's a forum where I talk shit and moan about United.

Seems Blagger was offended though, unfortunately. Don't get me wrong I love a good article on other stuff to do with football, just all that chalkboard stuff is a bit....

this sorry, pal. I watch a game, form an opinion based on what I see then throw that opinion out of the window and spend the following week arguing on here.

i used to care that the outside world had a fair view on united but i don't even care about my own view anymore.

Hi Bunks, what did you make of the transitional phase in the 57th minute? I thought Rafael was 1mm out of the correct position for that phase, ultimately that cost us the 3 points.

its killing the game and attracting the kind of #@&%!s that you see attending the match with an ipad and Sunday supplement...

"Stoke havent won at st james in 15 attempts, and this is the first time they have led at half time since January 7th"

Final score 1-1
