Thumbs down Talking About Anything Other Than United's Achievements

This often-used media trait seems to be at its height at the moment.

You'd never think we'd produced the comeback of the season at the weekend to ignite out title charge. You'd never think our main striker, who has taken constant flack all season, scored one of the best hat-tricks in Premiership history. You'd never think we outplayed a huge rival and beat them in their own back yard in the Champion's League quarter finals.

No, none of that actually happened. Instead its all attention on 'F' words and futile penalty claims. Lets all focus on that stuff.

@#%&!s.

A few Reds on 5 Live pointed that out tonight.

We have already been designated as the worst team to ever win the PL (if that does indeed happen, of course)

No awkward facts are going to be allowed to challenge that settled opinion, methinks

Exclamation Re: Talking About Anything Other Than United's Achievements

Presumably Torres will be roundly abused & vilified for his shameful attempts to cheat & get Chelsea a Penalty????

Obviously, if Rooney had dived on 2 occasions to win Penalties it would be swept under the carpet in similar fashion.

Siege mentality-a-go-go. £#%&! 'em All

The media where waiting for it,they know its a talking point with the £#%&!wits of other fans.

Essien was lucky to stay on the pitch tonight, crouch was sent of for two very similar tackles last night but once evra brought down ramires it was what they wanted.Even Adrian fat @#%&! chiles had to have a pop tonight and the scouse loving @#%&! on motd2 asking Paul Robinson about swearing and if he was in the park with his kids it would be out of order, tbf Robinson told him my kids would know it was a bad word because the have been brought up right etc, probably wouldn't ask the same question when Gerard elbowed wellbeck tho.

It's always the final straw when United do it. Swearing, fouling, whoring - whatever. It's no big deal until it's United and then a stand must be taken!

I think it's brilliant that our players have all mentioned the abysmal run of decisions we've had there over the last few years when being interviewed.

The backpage of one of the papers this morning is "ROBBED"....has it ever been that when we've been robbed against Chelsea? No, it's just 'one of those things' when it happens to us.

Bit like West Ham last Saturday. Alan Smith on commentary said of the Vidic pen that it's a tight one whether it's in or out the box but the ref gave the right decision giving it, then when we got a penalty it was a tight one and probably shouldn't have been given or something like that.

Another 'pundit' after the game, maybe the day after, said the Vidic penalty was tight whether it was in or out even though it was tight and maybe bordering on outside it doesn't matter the ref had to/gave the right decision giving it, or something like that. Just complete hypocrisy.

Talkshite can't handle it

Just had Matt Smith (I think that was his name, he needed to blow his £#%&!ing nose though whoever he was the tramp) on from the Guardian..

'Oh it's a terrible decision not to give that penalty!'

Followed by

'Im delighted the FA are standing up to Wayne Rooney! It's a frivolous appeal, he should get an extra game ban'

Which was followed by 5 minutes of 'the FA need to remain strong, they CANNOT reduce the ban' nearly in tears

When we get one, like on Upson, it's a tight one and the ref shouldn't give it.
