No Scholes and Nani? :shakehead:

Fair play if we get a result, and I have no right to question Fergie, but leaving out those two has surprised me. Especially with Scholes being banned for our next two league games, I thought he'd be a dead cert to play tonight. He ran the game in the first half against Chelsea a month back.

£#%&!ing hell, are you still going on about that shite?

The same Berbs who scored a hat trick against Liverpool?

He can't get in the team in big games (although he was in the first half of the season) because Fergie likes to play with 1 striker, and if you play with 1 striker they need to have a the threat of getting in behind. Which Berbs cannot do as he isn't that type of striker.

Chelsea won't know how to handle Park's strength, carrick's dominance game and giggs ability to cover ground.

It's a great selection, except Nani, where is he?

The only way Chelsea will knock us out if it is 2 cagey games and they nick it on away goals or by 1 goal. Fergie knows away goals might be crucial and has picked a team to get a couple tonight.

Giggs and Carrick against Essien, Lampard and Ramires in midfield?

£#%&!ing hell, I hope Fergie knows what he's doing here.

Keep the faith, Neo.

It doesn't say a great deal for our CM options when Park and Giggs are picked ahead of all but 1 of them

Hhmm. . . Really not sure about this line-up. No Nani makes no sense to me. He, Rooney and Chich tore into them in the last game. Who is gonna play next to Carrick? Park? Rio a big, big gamble at the back too.
