Think you're right on the pair of them though. Shame, both looked like they had serious potential at 15-16.

Brandy never really got over his broken leg. This added to his lack of presence in physical terms will cause him problems. He'd probably be better off trying his luck abroad, as I can't see the lower leagues over here suiting him too well.

Cleverley looks like the new lampard. excellent timing of his runs, always an eye for pass, and good shot too. And what's more he is comfortable playing on left wing. The one position we struggle in the first team.

watford did a very good job by getting cleverley and lansbury.

brandy is like campbell. a speed merchant who is too hit and miss, no footballing brain.

I think Cleverley would be good in a three man midfield.
