LvG promoted and clung to Lingard to try and get more in behind, but overall he didn't buy well enough to give us dynamism in attack tbh.

Mourinho's sides are usually far more transition-based so it's a surprise how bad we look on the break atm. He will be instructing them to go direct and quickly when we win it in our half, but it's so aimless. We win the ball and just kick it into the opposition half. Ian wright's analysis on MOTD2 is pretty £#%&!ing depressing viewing tbh.

Or are you suggesting that ian wright and alan shearer don't know what they're on about when talking centre forwards?

Is there anything he said that was wrong? Because he was spot on imho and the clips just highlight everything wrong with United moving forward.

That is depressing isn't it

Also interesting that they make the point I made in the match thread about how Chelsea had fabregas and hazard to control and create things, where as we relied on Herrera and Mikki who were in similar roles

Funny how much was made of Spurs being "The Harry Kane team" when in reality we look very much like "The Paul Pogba team" how is it possible to rely on one player so much to create things for you?

If you're practicing passing drills every day at carrington and the bloke closing you down is Fellaini or Smalling, of course you're going to think that it's easy because they're f***ing shit and slow. It's a different kettle of fish when players of actual substance start getting about you.
Quite obviously you will argue that because you're in some bizarre state of denial about Mourinho's shortcomings.

Do you seriously believe that every player United sign has this affliction you are describing?

Maybe, just maybe, there is one single factor that affects all of them and the way they play.

Look at the state of the forum atm; threads popping up AOTS slagging off individual players.

Mkhitaryan, while a certified fanny, isn't a no.10. He didn't play there for Dortmund. Herrera wasn't a holding midfielder at Bilbao. Rashford isn't a winger. Young and Valencia aren't fullbacks. Bogbrush isn't a footballer. Lukaku barely fits the description either.

All Mourinho's choices.

By the same token, Alan, you're in some sort of warped mindset that it's all Mourinho's fault.

There are certain players here that have been criminal for too long. Course, you can point the finger at Mourinho for not getting rid but, is it really his fault Mikhitarayn can't make a simple pass and @#%&! out of everything? Or, his fault that Herrera is limited and Martial is lazy or that Jones is an absolute car wreck?

Everyone is at fault for what has happened since Fergie left. Not just Mourinho

Yes it is.

It's his job to improve players and get them back into form. He's not doing it.

OK, it's Fergie's and LvG's fault that Jones is a walking disaster at times too so.

Stick Mikhitaryan in the gym so he doesn't get so easily dispossessed. Show him some horror flicks so he grows a set

As I said, it's not all just one way traffic. Everyone is to blame

Who picks the teams?

If only he had bought a defender in the summer.....oh wait.
