When you're not getting minutes ahead of Lingard and Pereira I think you realize the manager doesn't fancy you and you need to move on to further your career

Big fan of Angel so disappointed to see him go but not surprised

Will be interesting to see where he goes and how he develops from here
Definitely needs to play competitive football as he's way too good for under 23 football

Not convinced tbh. Honestly don’t think he’d have been held back were he good enough, particularly with the injuries in attack we’ve had. I’m not a massive fan of Chong either btw.

I’ve watched Gomes a fair few times in the U23’s and not seen anything more than we’ve seen from 100 kids before him that weren’t good enough, and they generally weren’t 5’4. He’s done £#%&! all when given game time either.

Clearly had his head turned anyway, £#%&! him.

Him and Chong are destined for the absolute pits of world football.

Neither will make it at any level...
