Can't knock his record though as he won everything in Europe for club and country with a world cup as the cherry on top

Would defo win poll for the best driver out of all utd ex players

Has Schmeichel ever explained himself over the cartwheeling?

Ince gave it to us a couple of times but you could kind of see his point, and we did Hughes dirty too imho, but Schmeichel was treated like a king. The neck on the @#%&!. Seemed to play for another decade after crying that it was all getting too much for him at United.

A #@&%!.

Granted him a free transfer out of respect when he said the English league was too demanding. Remember reading in RI back in the day that he was on the phone to his agent straight after the 99 final, too.

Goes to Sporting get a big signing on fee.

Decides a year later wants to come back, big signing on fee at Villa.

Same at City.

He's a @#%&!. Great keeper, mind.

Saw something not so long ago that he didn't want to leave, but he was past the point where he could play the amount of games he was required to play every season. Said something like the perfect scenario would have been to stay and only play half the games across the season, but that was never going to be an option.

£#%&! knows why he ended up at City though

Edit: It was the podcast - see above

He did go through a bit of a crisis in the early part of his final United season tbh, it was apparently then that he decided he would have to go. Quite possible he regretted it later.
