Looks like a completely different player. He’s like a slower Aaron Lennon these days

he never had real pace but he seems to have lost that explosiveness to create space for himself. Some if his pass and move sequences are Fred worthy.

What is it then? Pace of the league? Injuries? Pressure of playing for a big team? Ole destroyed him?

Seems to be a huge confidence player, and is currently playing with absolutely zero confidence. Looks scared in possession, and is playing within himself.

They will have the sports psychologists working overtime with him, but he just needs something to click - a great assist, a mazy run, a long-range strike finding the top corner. Something, anything...

Stick him on the right against sherif . Give Antony a midweek break . Should be able to bag a goal or an assist easy

He played as much, if not more, on the left for Dortmund as he played on the right

For Dortmund. Always heard before he signed he'd played a lot on the right for Dortmund, but prefers/is more productive from the left.

Thought it was closer than that tbf. Kills the idea he’s a right side specialist though.

He’s had 18 months to settle into the league. Only 6 months of a new manager and style. Hopefully by Jan he turns it around, but if this form doesn’t improve by the end of the season then decisions need to be made.

He’s young, the expectation isn’t even a goal or assist every game. But you should be able to expect either a goal or assist every 3 games

Can’t have a 300k a week bench player

Well there is that way of looking at it, but after his Goals ve Loonypool & Leicester, he really should be building upon those & be a bit more direct & get some 1st crosses into the penalty box for our Strikers to latch onto.:

I'd pick elanga over both. He's absolutely shite no doubt but he's committed to the cause unlike the other two wasters.

Never been his biggest fan but that isn't fair - he DIDN'T have the hunger or desire. You can see it is definitely back now.

Would love to see him play with a modicum of intensity.

See what he does against the Moldovan farmers this week. If he isn't dropped.
