So... the christian thing to do would be to rebuild Notre Dame as a housing project for the homeless. You could probably get a hundred or more apartments in there and let the city provide free water, sewerage, electricity, food, wifi...

... it's what Jesus would have wanted.

Is there a big problem with homelessness in Paris? Serious question btw.

yes. the immigration issue is huge - went there last year for the Euro's & where my pal had booked us into looked like downtown Mogadishu. People were camping on the streets, they had water stand pipes where they were washing.


All the social housing in Paris has been located miles outside of the city. Watch the film La Haine - it's decent

At least in France he had a job. In England he was unemployed with no social safety net to fall back on.
