I'm generally against buying players off the back of a good World Cup, but I thought this lad had a certain swagger about him & his temperament seemed good too. Would like to see him at United.

Same with Balotelli too. I haven't seen much of him, but I like his reputation for being a '@#%&!' ...we could do with a loose cannon in the side to wind up the ABU's (Wayne's calmed down far too much of late) ..+ he's obviously got a lot of raw ability.

I can't see him going for quite that low an amount, but nevertheless he's going to be cheaper now than at probably any point for the next 10 years. It's also worth noting that if or when someone does buy him and gets him under a contract, he will immediately be worth a hell of a lot more than he was bought for.

It's almost too perfect, - he's a great player, young, would provide exactly what we require in the team, can play left and central, reasonable transfer fee, immediate re-sale value .... etc, etc

There's really no excuse here, SAF enquired about him previously and Grandmaster Gill assures us there is plenty of money - here's his chance to back up what he says.

fergie's comments have been perfectly consistent and straightforward imo and united's transfers over the last few seasons have been pretty much in line with what we've always done. somehow people have convinced themselves that united sign tons of foreign players and the fact that we're not must mean fergie can't because of money, ergo he's a lying @#%&!, he's just protecting his wage, the club is a joke, youngsters are only being promoted because we have no choice etc etc.
