Chris Smalling

3 years ago when we signed him, he was getting a lot of shit from our fans saying he would be a flop, Fergie had paid too much for him, let's not forget, Arsenal ( his boyhood team ) were interested in him as well and i think they had a bid accepted by Fulham ( correct me if i'm wrong ), but i was glad he came to us, he's improved massively since he's been at United, he's an england international as well.

He's a premier league winner who would've thought that, he would walk into Arsenal's defence today in my opinion, he would replace Mertesacker who's slow and looks older than 26, If Smalling can stay clear from injury, i can see him staying at United for the next 10 years.
