Default Foam Rollers

Bloody love 14 inch black knobs in our gaff

I've just released 40 years worth of tension from my traps.

Then I mashed my calves/hamstrings and went to touch my toes, and I swear I can almost place my hands flat on the floor (could only knuckle it previously).

Any other rollerreds?

Yes.

Try a trigger point ball for the smaller, shorter muscles.

Ooo! Hadn't heard of them, but they look good. I've always had a tight clavicle, for want of a better description, and the first image I saw was:

Bliss. Foam rolling is the new mortification of the flesh

Foam rollers are good for longer muscles, like rolling tension out of hamstrings or around the hips and quads.

If you're looking to get right in there though, the ball is the way to go.

There's also one called a peanut, which is two balls fused together (giggidy)

Would recommend both for back and neck issues.

Do your lower back and make sure you go over that and all your other joints as hard as possible.

Regular roller for the neck mate??

Been having loads of problem with my neck, been to see a physio and he said it was a fused vertebrae in the neck but the pain is more in my shoulder?

So Iíve had a couple of sessions and heís cracked me into place, felt great for a couple of days but then it goes back to a stiff neck and shoulder pain

Really pissing me off lately!

No, I use the ball for the neck.

Mine, like yours, is like a referred pain.

If I press into the middle of my left lat and at the base, I can feel a release in my neck / trap.

The body is odd.

Do you do a lot of overhead pressing? Lat raises?
