Last night was touch and go as expected. We took her to the beach straight away to meet our other dog and they're getting on well. Cuddling up together which is making my heart melt. She's currently on my lap at my desk. Phenomenal creature.

Considering you only got her yesterday and she's cuddling up to your other dog and falling asleep on your lap, I'd say that's an extremely good sign.

We'd love to get a Whippet, wonderful dogs. Not a good idea with a cat though. Sister-in-law has one. It's likes to kill rats and squirrels.

Many many people say this - but dogs have a strange habit of getting in the way

Scrap this. She's a f***ing dickhead. Seems the house we got her from lied about crate training. Since last Monday I have been on roughly 3 hours sleep. It's brutal.

Put her in today and locked it for 2 hours. Not a peep

Dotty can go out walking now. She's unsure obviously.

Toilet training is hard, think its because it's a busy house at times. It was quiet a few days last week and she slept a lot and got into a bit of a routine. I know going out and walks will help that when she is used to it.

It's f***ing great having a dog though.
