Sickening to think they'll have back-to-back years of Aguero and Haaland banging goals in for them for fun. Didn't they pick up Aguero when Fergie was blathering on about "no value" in the market, too?
His dad played for City. They will offer massive wages. It's the step up he wanted and he had a (relatively) low release clause. It was the easiest transfer they could make. They're just as capable at £#%&!ing up transfers as we are. Look at their pursuit of Kane last year.

Plus they're just as bad as us for wasting money. Hundreds of millions wasted on crap. The difference is; they can just go out and get someone else when they fail. And they get rid of failures much quicker. That plus they're actually geared up to operate as a football club rather than a business.

Let’s see how it all turns out. Some thought we were signing the most wanted player in the world when we got that bloke that pirouettes a lot before falling over and giving the opposition the ball.

He'll score loads. You'd have to be a borderline paraplegic to not score at least 20 goals a season playing up front for City. The real question is - just how much better can they be? Is signing Haaland going to stop them conceding 6 goals across two legs to Real Madrid? No. They already score a million goals a season regardless.

Yet again though it does make their squad ridiculously strong. A bench full of 60-70 million quid players as back ups. Meanwhile our 'backup' full backs are bargain basement £#%&! we got for less than 35 million for the £#%&!ing pair of them. That's the difference. That's why them and Liverpool are in for the treble every single £#%&!ing year. Their squads are ridiculous.

It's even more annoying with Liverpool because they didn't spend anywhere near as much. They seem to have an insane ability to improve players or spot ones that are massively undervalued. There has been hardly anyone they've signed that I would have wanted us to sign (at the time) and yet they all turn out world class.

When this place closes down I will sorely miss your eternal optimism. But remember, if they ever do it we will have done it first.

It’s because they have a brilliant manager, I’m sorry to say.. He signs players from Sunderland, Stoke and Newcastle and gets them playing like £#%&!ing world beaters. Almost every player goes there and improves, while the reverse is true for us.

Didn't you have Telles as your avatar for months?

He'll be limping off the pitch by October.

The guy that gave him his debut could not even close this deal.

The Ole era continues to haunt us every £#%&!ing day. Every day painful reminders of how he £#%&!ed us,
