Default Arsenal: The future's looking a bit bleak, eh?

How the mighty have fallen! With slapped arse going to Barca, they really are looking like a team of French reserve team players and dodgy Germans with silly haircuts. 4th place if they're very, very lucky.

if they are very lucky.

gilberto will be off next and fabregas will be exposed overrated player he is in midfield.

they have a decent backline but forward of that there are not even better than spurs...

that dont even have one world class midfielder or striker at the minute.

They are way short of the class required and do not have an enforcer type player so will always be bullied out of a lot of games.
The way tottingham hotspurs are signing I fancy them to make the top 4 and the arse around 6th or 7th. Ha £#%&!ing ha.

I can't believe anyone on here can really seriosly rate Adebayor. In the last game against Chelski he was utter garbage - looked like his boots were 5 sizes too big and full of cement. Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, and very reminiscent of Kanu. Rozicky is overrated, and they're going to have a goalkeeping problem this coming season too. There are just too many problems for them to sort out in 1 transfer window, and getting Henry for £16 million was a steal for Barca.

I think uncertain rather than bleak. It depends on a lot of factors really.

Mainly whether Wenger can be arsed waiting to see if the yank can buy the club. If he waits and the Yank buys then Dein will be back and all will be rosy. Grimandi is very much a stop gap until this happens.

It may be that it's all too uncertain and he will go though, then they will bein trouble. It will all go to shit very quickly.

The sale of Henry is neitehr here nor there really.

rvp would be a perfect striker to sign imo.

young, technically very good, adequate pace and an eye for a goal.

with the platform we would offer him he would become a great player.

that goal he scored against us at the emirates was a very very good goal that is imo underrated. maybe thats thats because it was against us.

I wouldn't consider him a striker. Not in the traditional sense, which is really all we're lacking imo.
