Thumbs up Capoue

In expected news, Spurs have signed another midfielder in Capoue.

Thinking about it, Sandro on one leg would be an improvement..

Seriously?

Bloody b#@&%! with midfield solidity now? Serious depth with Sandro, Dembele, Capoue and Paulinho. 3 of them defensive minded. I know Paulinho can go forward too btw.

Parker, Huddlestone and Livermore still lurking too. Poor English lads marginalised by actual talent. Tbf Tommy H is skilful but a bit chubby.

Don't even know who he is tbh, I'll bet he's better than Anderson though.

Spurs with £100m to spend could be makes things very interesting next season.

If they sign a decent centre back and a left winger they could challenge for a top 3 spot.

Because he doesn't play for Barcelona or Everton. Those are our only options and to disagree is to prefer nobody at all!

I doubt anyone here can claim to have seen him extensively unless they are french football journos, even ESPN in the uk barely show Toulouse games.

But £8m for a player who just broke into a french national team that has many quality options. Defensive minded, energetic and sound technically. Just turned 25, perfect profile really. Spurs who already have Sandro, Paulinho and Dembele see fit to bring him in so that also speaks to his quality.

But we never know the full story, United have turned down many a player due to concerns that aren't related to someones football performances.

No doubt we'll have someone calling it the end of the world though. Let's not forget the bizarre hysteria over van der vaart a few years ago. He wasn't even a central midfielder, he moved in the final hours of the window and was only offered to Spurs. Yet you had United fans crying like their father had been incarcerated...

VDV was turfed out of Spurs last year btw and ended up being a wifebeater, we won the league twice since his 'infamous' deadline day move to Spurs.

Sage: I bet he never chests the ball and stuff and plays in a pivot, he would be great I know this from his name.

Life for United would be so much easier had QSI taken over us instead of PSG as planned in 2011.
