It would be the biggest kick in the teeth in what has so far been a season of kicks in the teeth. Thursday night football again makes me sick and angry.

I honestly think if we lose we’re pretty much already out. Our results and form away from home mean we can’t afford to drop anything at Old Trafford against either Galatasaray or Copenhagen. You just don’t trust this lot to go away to anybody and avoid defeat.

Just seen Galatasarys squad and would like to revise my prediction.

Don’t forget what happened last time us and Liverpool were in the Europa at the same time. Not so much a kick in the teeth as Ed Norton putting you face down on the curb outside the Tollgate

You could argue that winning tonight would make it more likely rather than less that we'll end up in the Europa
