Question The Doc

As we havent had the best start to the season, my memory drifts.

Where does the Forum stand with TD?


Loved the Doc


Stabilised a once sinking ship ( dunno if that is how stabilise is spelt)

I don't think he stabbed George in the back, he gave him every opportunity but he didn't turn up for training, games etc.

I watched a YouTube interview with the doc and he said that when paddy Crerand was manager of Northampton he was leaving games at half time to travel back to manchester and wondered why he got the sack.

Tommy Dochertys side were really the first united side I followed properly as I had been too young and living in oz prior to that, loved Gordon hill, remember crying when Southampton beat us in the cup final, big £#%&!ing pansie so I was.

Bit young myself for the match but I remember all round Collyhurst and Miles Platting there was always "Docs Red Army" graffiti all over the place.

No other manager, era has inspired as much paintwork around the streets of Manchester.
