Default 22/23 - season run in. DOOM thread

No way we win in Sevilla now without martinez, rashford, varane and bruno.

first three of those probably done for the rest of the season
win the fa semi we'll be probably be mullered by city in the final.

top4 gonna be touch and go

city likely to win the treble.

been a bit cursed the last few weeks but honestly think erik's non rotation earlier in the season coming home to roost. had a full team in the home game against reading in the cup for example. madness.

somebody give me a slap and tell me it's all gonna be ok

I think we’ll be good for top four. We won’t win either of those cups, but I didn’t think we’d do that anyway.

So, as you were.

I’m with you. After last night I don’t think we’ll be picking up another trophy, having to go balls to the wall before Brighton in the FA Cup semi is a consequence we should comfortably have avoided.

With the latest injuries I suspect Tottenham will stuff us too in the league so it could be one meek ending to a season that promised so much.

We’ve got to pray Varane and Rashford are back sharpish.

If we have Lindelof and Maguire back at CB and no rashford then we’re £#%&!ed. Too much of a handicap.

Ridiculous we’ve gone from having no midfield to now having no defence and our best forward missing.

It is always darkest before the dawn. That’s what I’ve heard said a thousand times. If that is the case, let us then be the beacon. Our fathers and theirs before them live on through us; let us give our sons a song to sing for generations to come!

For what is glory without having suffered for it?
What is joy without the sadness that precedes it?
Wounded though our body may be, our spirit remains intact.

Valhalla will welcome no man with fear in his heart! So onwards I say!
For Rashford!
For Shaw!
For Varane!
For Martinez!

More or less where I’m at though if we could somehow scrape past Brighton I think bae could put together one last hurrah in the final

Can't legislate for so many injuries. April will be make or break. Forest (who have the worst away record in the league but have W/D 11 of 15 at home), Spurs, Brighton away in the next 4. Given away record to date and nature of injuries, may necessitate a change in style or could easily come away with 1 pt from 9 which would throw what should have been a procession wide open again.

Get through April and May should be relatively straightforward fixture wise + players coming back into the fold. Spurs are so bad: dropped pts against S'oton & Everton then robbed Brighton in last 3. No momentum over there either.

Top 4 no problem and confident of getting to both cup finals.

All about the top 4. Happily play the women’s team in Seville and at Wembley.

I'd rather win a cup than get top 4. We will win another cup and get top 4 though.
