His stats over the past two years in terms of goals/assists is among the best for his age group. Minutes on the pitch he was up there with De Gea. Rashford became a better player under Mou whether we like it or not.
Glad Mourinho was good with him. Didn’t loan him out and gave him loads of games and minutes. He is now twice the player he was in 2016.

In another two years when he is 23yrs he could be real a top top forward for us.

Needs to tighten up his game as he loses the ball too easily trying to force things that aren't on

That being said like a lot of players in this squad I'd like to see how he'd get on under a progressive coach who would actually you know coach him and try to get the best out of his talent
I think we know the answer to that question now

Must surely be getting you onside a little more though, no?

He's improving where he needs to and ofcourse, like any other player, he's benefiting from playing regularly in his favoured position.

Adding goals to his game and I think today was the first time I've seen him take the one and only chance he got all game. And it wasn't an easy finish by any stretch. He'd have blasted that a month ago.

That finish was like the early Van Gaal days.

If you'd never seen them play and watched him and Kane today you would be all over the lad in red.

I thought that at full time.

If the performances were reversed, the talk would all be about how Rashford needs to get to the level Kane showed today.

Kane always misses a lot of chances against us. Did in both games at Wembley last season. He's not as clinical as he's made out to be. Prolific, but not clinical.

I'd agree, though his recent performances have been promising. Not sure if he is going to become prolific enough to be the main man through the middle. But he's still young and he may improve a lot in that respect. Took his goal today very well.

Goal wise, we're not helped by the low output from the right-hand side. Which you would have thought Sanchez would have impacted on 12 months ago...

He makes good decisions and just keeps going; doing the same thing over and over. Never seems to get fazed by periods where it’s not going well and rides the periods where it is. I would pay 200m for him without blinking.

Mate we've scored 17 goals in 6 games and Rashford is 4 in 6.

I see what you're saying though.

Sounds like Rashford without the decision-making tbf.

Not seen much of the past 5 seasons pal?

Lets hope we keep scoring. It has been a major issue since Ferie left.

Put that offside one wide early on though may have seen the flag and wasn't arsed. But the goal was great. All the talk was about the pass but he still had loads to do. Lloris should probably do better but it was a great finish. Easy to forget he's still only 20. Can not get better with Ole coaching him.

Also seems to have the right attitude. Got a bit of the Keane and Neville's about him when it comes to professionalism and what the club means.

He's 21. but it's a very good point. He's 5 yrs off his prime.
Can you imagine what he'll be like then?

What a talent. Mourinho should be arrested for the way he tried to kill him.
