Wales fans heading to the Euro 2016 quarter-final fear they could miss the game due to delays at the Eurotunnel.

Eurotunnel LeShuttle tweeted that commuters are facing a 90 minute wait pre-check in and a three hour delay to booked departure times.

On Friday morning, fans reported waiting five hours and expressed concerns for those travelling later.

Wales face Belgium in the quarter-final in Lille at 20:00 BST. Some fans have called for the start to be delayed.

Broadcaster and singer Cerys Matthews, who is among those stuck at the Eurotunnel, called the situation a shambles in a series of tweets, saying she faced a five-hour delay.

Wales fan Rod Woodward called for UEFA to delay the game's start to allow more time for fans to get to the stadium.

He has described "chaotic scenes" at the terminal with fans in tears.

Wales have had a very good tournament so far. They'd have beaten England too if they'd have only believed they could.

If Belgium turn up it could get messy though.

Yep was a bit disappointing they went so negative in that game. They played Belgium in qualifying and were better than them both games so maybe that will give them more confidence. Hope so anyway as I don't really mind that much who wins, though I'd prefer Wales.
