Get the second early and then control the game. Need more run in behinds with elanga and greenwood.

A few times we could have countered but it was a bit passive. Maybe that comes from the compact shape theyre holding . Would like the second goal , don’t trust these guys

Yeah, it’s 0-3 or 2-1 Villa this, innit.

That first 30 mins was the best performance all season in terms of stability and true quality.

I’d say first half v Spurs, but it’s certainly been one of our better efforts.

Gotta follow it up this half too.

Can see a half asleep equaliser in the first five minutes and the usual bad habits resurfacing. Not a lot of options to turn it round off the bench either. Be focussed and ruthless, boys.

We have had a good half , even the last 15 we were under pressure but only gave them a couple of half chances. I think we should try to be more direct with the pace we have.

If we play like we did in the first we will win. So at the very least these guys won’t need to raise their game

I know what you mean but Cavani is different to Ronaldo he works very hard and creates space.

2 fast clever two footed strikers we look so threatening. We'll done the 2 full backs.

Yeah, I made the point earlier: we didn’t panic when Villa improved. Kept passing well and took the sting out as best we could.

Don’t want that little rat Countinho coming on when the game is alive either. Kill it off.

Cavani would probably have about 20 goals this season if anyone passed to him in the box

Stevie G with dirty Cash

Good effort from my twin Elanga there. Made the keeper work. Like a Swedish Norman Tebbit.

Careful, Boys. The ref won’t hesitate to dish out a second yellow here.
