I hate him, with a passion.

Him ever being a football manager is inconsequential tbh.

David O'Leary is a weird one, I hated him, then liked him, then hated him, then liked him etc..

Whatever happened to all these managers from about 6-7 years ago that were automatically linked with every job going? Hoddle, Gregory, O'Dreary, Southgate, Curbs??

Ok, I know what some of them are doing now but they're never linked anymore are they?

Agreed. Much too high an opinion of himself.

Always quite liked him, myself

Nice to see he has stuck with Blackpool, btw.

he's a top tangerine. very nice bloke and a very good manager, but does need to keep his own counsel sometimes instead of making everything public knowledge.

Up to a point. Hoddle wasn't a bad club coach until the England job turned him a bit funny. And the achievements of Curbs at Charlton speak for themselves (look where they are now)

Went on the piss in Spain instead of managing the team though. Can't fault that sort of attitude

Never minded Coleman myself, tbh. And that @#%&! al-Fayed treated him pretty disgracefully.

Wasn't that because of, er, off-pitch indiscretions rather than results?

Well this might just be a good way of resurrecting his career, if the early hype surrounding him had any substance whatever.
