The two year consultancy part is the most interesting to me. Will have a role in picking his successor I'd imagine and I'd trust him given his track record over the guys picking the previous managers.

Possibly looking to lay the groundwork to convince Ten Hag or someone else. Don't think we'll see a huge change over night on the pitch (hopefully wrong), but with sights on next season this feels like a smart move.

Disclaimer: I don't remember ever seeing one of his teams play, but he talks a good game.
