And? Are you familiar with the concept of a Hall of Fame pal? It’s not just a list of players with the most titles

Quite funny seeing people getting so wound up about it though. Who gives a flying £#%&! about who goes in first?! Nobody had even heard of the “PL Hall Of Fame” a few weeks ago. Stupid yank shite anyway imo.

Don't get the drama

Loading it with United players toot sweet would damage it in the eyes of many fans from the get-go.

Slowly slowly catch the Gareth Bale/Peter Reid.

I expect it to go even stevens until there's about 5 from each of the big 4 (Utd, Chelsea, Arse, City) plus singular winners like Blackburn/Liverpool/Leicester.

Ultimately there will be loads of United in there of course - but we will probably see the likes of Vardy, Adams, Carragher, Bale, Zola in there before Beckham/Scholes/Giggs are all in.

If done logically and unemotionally....we'd half half of all the HoF in ASAP.

Manchester United 13 1992-93, 1993-94, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2000-01, 2002-03, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09, 2010-11, 2012-13
Chelsea 5 2004-05, 2005-06, 2009-10, 2014-15, 2016-17
Manchester City 5 2011-12, 2013-14, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21
Arsenal 3 1997-98, 2001-02, 2003-04
Blackburn Rovers 1 1994-95
Leicester City 1 2015-16
Liverpool 1 2019-20

Is it only open to players that score goals?

They are both two of the best players to ever play in the Premier League, but the three I mentioned are better.

So? Robson's only league medals were at the tailend of his career with a bit part role in the squad but the overall career he had for the club would get him many people's all time United XI still.

No. Which is why midfielders have been picked. Strikers score goals though, so I’d say it’s quite important. They haven’t been put in order of quality either. They’re not saying those two are better because they went in first.

You’re saying they’re two of the best to play in the league, yet your first post seemed to have an issue with them being in.

People basically moaning because it’s not ALL United players

I can't really say that I'm that bothered or taking it as seriously as you to be honest mate. I just said that Keane should have been first in imo, then Scholes and then Cantona.

Don't really care about Henry or Shearer, and it's all a load of shite anyway.

I don’t think anyone is taking it particularly seriously tbh mate. Whole thing is just a bit of fun. Which is why I find it odd that people are moaning about class players being in there because they don’t play for United

Lovely guy, but hard to deny that there is a tendency in that direction.

Smashing little player and, as you say, a nice guy and a character.... but he was always talked about in the Bergkamp, Cantona, Henry bracket. Not a patch on any of them.
