Bale and Kroos

Apparently these were Mou’s two main targets and united have been trying to sign them both all summer and the failure to sign them is why Mou is so pissed off as both had said they were keen to join, particularly Bale, who Mou has been tapping up since he joined United.

Ronaldo probably told Madrid months ago that he was going to leave this summer. So the chances of Bale leaving were slim to none.

I doubt they'd sell Kroos either.

Both top players, especially Kroos, but £#%&! me, how about we show some imagination in the market and try and get some young stars that we can grow and develop, rather than players approaching the winter of their careers and looking for their last big pay day?

The Mourinho Virus is going to do so much damage to us long-term. Lumbering us with a load of geriatrics whilst destroying the development of our youngsters. Lots to look forward to.

Are we really in a position to take gambles on young players? It's much easier to do that when you're in a position of power.

I assume Fred was the contingency plan. It's hard to imagine we were going to buy 2 midfielders. Especially when we've no real right winger and a bunch of clowns that masquerade as centre backs.

But we signed Fred months ago, whereas if this story is to be believed time wasted on trying to sign Kroos cost us other targets.

Not sure it's as simple as that to be honest.
