Lack of confidence that imo, and he's been carrying it one way or another for over a year, will take a while to shake off.

You saying he’s been told to keep running into a forest of legs?

His approach play can be exceptional but his decision making beyond that is often the most brain dead I’ve ever seen.

He needs to step up and step up quickly or he’s in danger of becoming like so many other players we seem to be saddled with. Ineffective but on ridiculous wages.

I’m saying he’s been told to try and force his way through crowds of players in certain situations. His decision making at times is sorely lacking, but confidence is the main issue, as it is for the vast majority of our squad tbf.

Someone needs to give our attacks a bit of structure and teach Rashford how to link up and play with his team mates properly because at this stage it seems he either doesn't know how to or, even worse, has bought into his own hype so much he thinks he really can just dribble and score every time he gets the ball like he's in the under 12s.

Either way it really is time for him to either shit or get off the pot. He's in his mid 20s now so he should be now entering the peak years of his career in the next 3 years.
Honestly hadn’t heard of Salah until he was brought in to a system that
utilised his type of play to the max.

So now there is going to be a core style and system then if it doesn’t exploit the ability he has then there isn’t much point him hanging around as another depleting in value asset.

Marcus Rashford has said that the style of play being introduced at Manchester United by interim boss, Ralf Rangnick is strange and totally different from what Manchester United have ever played before in their history.

What's different and strange
That you actually have to work hard and run
Your ass off ?

He might mean it as a good thing. United desperately need to get with the modern times on the pitch.

He finished last season poorly and we all thought it was because he was playing through injury.

He's come back just as poor (maybe worse). Hopefully he'll improve because there's a player in there. He's better against teams that play a high line, he struggles when teams sit back and he can't run in behind.

Maybe, but it's one hell of a drop off and it's soul-destroying seeing him like this.

And the hyenas who can't wait to rubbish him so they can skite about calling it right. Ugly spectacle.

Is this actually a word? If not, it probably should be tbf.
