The more I watch the videos and read about him the more I think its a great appointment. It'll just be nice to have a team coached, a direction which can be transfered to the new manager. Yes we will still have ups and downs but if we can actually see a strategy we can take that.

What an incredible appointment! I still can't believe this current United regime have got something right in terms of a football-related decision! The Assistant has fantastic pedigree and experience too.

This is so groundbreaking for the club. They are bringing in the philosopher that all of the top coaches in the world (Klopp, Pep, Tuchel and Nagelsmann) follow and have built their playing style and footballing approaches on.

Surely it will be Ten Hag in the summer now surely

Only took 8 years, over a billion quid and yearly disappointment for them to do the most obvious and sensible thing.

Either it works or it doesn't for the next 6 months, but I feel better having this guy working the squad than Michael Carrick.
