Default Darron Gibson.

Was he being played on the right wing yesterday? Certainly looked like it. Very odd.

Played about 2 passes forward, fair play. He should go to Celtic and be a star.

I think he's gotta lot of talent, not as a right winger though.

It's the only reason I can see for him being played in front of quite a few others.

He's only 19 or 20 intee? It's taken Fletch 'til he's 25 or summat to develop.

Has the turning speed of Tom Huddlestone but lacks his ability.

Don't rate him.

He stuggled in the same role against Blackburn, lacks the pace and lightness of feet to manouever in tight areas.

The set up of the team did not help in the first half, no real width, Nani was coming in off the left, Gibson was lost, led to too many attempts to pass the ball through the middle when the space was not really there.

Second half, players inn there right positions and the swithc of play was constantly on.

To be fair to Gibson, Fergie should really have puts Giggs left, nani right and gave him a chance in his natural role, very hard fr him to shine as a wide player.

anyone think gibson has a cat in hell's chance of being as good as possebon will be?

didn't think so. which makes me wonder why gibson is getting chances and rodders is on the bench. show window, perhaps?

he'll improve, i'm sure. but, from what i've seen, he lacks quite a lot that he's unlikely to learn. could do a decent job making jos look mobile and athletic, mind.

Ok but Possebon is better than Gibson right now. I'm surprised he doesn't get the nod in situations like last night. Unless Gibson is being put in the shop window,

He is but I think they will end up very different types of player to be honest. Doesn't matter who plays if they are played in a position which just doesn't suit them.
