Saha always struck me as someone who was fine when he was 'loved'. No surprise he got injured once he had competition for his place.

Larsson was probably a good guy to have around in a young-ish squad, but his actually contribution was very little.

How many goals did get? 3?

Yep, one League one Cup one Europe. Think they were all winning goals but might be wrong. But his contribution wasn't that great, I agree.

Been offered a two year £400k per week extension by his parent club in China.

Let's see how much he loves the club...

Would be an idiot to turn that dosh down.

Let's keep it as a holiday romance. We've had a great time with him and he has been a joy - let's not sully the memory of him.

Very true.

Earn £100,000 per week at United on a two year deal - £5m per year, £10m over two years

Or earn £20m per year, £40m over two years.

No brainer tbf.

Not about how much the club will pay him (although yes, it is probably the most important thing). How much exposure has the Utd gig given him so far? And can you put a price on living out your dream?? Hope he stays as an option to bring off the bench.

^^ This.

Some players turned down big money moves to stay up the clubs they loved (Le Tissier being the most memorable one).
Maybe living the dream will mean more than extra money to him.

Can’t see China being top of anyone’s list of “places you want to live” right now tbh.

Odion Ighalo has confirmed his desire to turn his loan spell at Manchester United into a permanent move.

“I am inspired by a lot of things at United, I am really inspired and I am looking forward to spending more time with the team. Seeing the club from the outside you don't know how big it is. But when you are inside you know how big the club is.

I am inspired by the way the club is structured, I am inspired by the direction of the club. I am inspired by the development of the young players and how they are coming through from the grassroots to the first-team.”

Sounds inspired to me.

Shame, real shame. Gave every bead of sweat for the shirt. He'll be back in the PL before long.
