BST or local time? What time zone are you in? That'll help.

why's rio's testimonial against sevilla? i always thought players picked the opposition themselves - or is it just whoever's available at the time?

i remember solskjaer's was against espanyol which seemed a bit odd.

Why is Rio getting a testimonial? Has it been confirmed that it'll be his last season?

a testimonial is given for ten years service not because they're leaving.

I think it will probably be Rio's last season and to bring a big club to old trafford for a friendly would mean that that club would be losing out on a good fee unless united were to pay it. You only really see the bigger European clubs come for sponsored tournaments.

Thank you both.

Scary to think the next person due a testimonial is Rooney.

United, under their new manager David Moyes, are playing five friendlies in July in four countries - Thailand, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong.

They begin with a match in Bangkok on July 13 against a Singha All Star XI at the Rajamangala Stadium (8pm local time, 2pm BST),
then fly to Sydney and, after an intensive training camp, play the A-League All-Stars at ANZ Stadium on July 20 (7.30pm local, 10.30am BST).

Two games in Japan follow, against Yokohama F Marinos on July 23 at Nissan Stadium (7.20pm local, 11.20am BST) and Cerezo Osaka on July 26 at Osaka Nagai Stadium (7pm local, 11am BST).

The tour then ends in Hong Kong with a fixture against Kitchee FC on July 29 at Hong Kong Stadium (8pm local, 1pm BST).
