Default Medical question

'morning. Quick question: I'm meeting up with a few friends later on but have been 'in the runs' like Viv Richards all morning, but am otherwise fine.

What would a normal person do -- cancel and stay home (given Covid etc.) or go anyway and keep washing my hands? (no one shakes hands anymore anyway).

so to summarise, you've had the shits and you don't know whether or not to meet your mates later?

Precisely. "Etiquette in the time of Covid" if you like.

Need more detail

Where are you going?

What do you plan to do?

If you shat yourself, would these mates take pictures and send them to your family?

Are you allergic to wet wipes?

Thumbs down

its a bit selfish to go out when you are clearly ill with something.

Show a bit of common sense and stay in.

Last time I had an upset stomach I was in a similar situation. I risked it but the walk to the venue killed me and 20 mins after arriving I was meticulously placing tissue around a toilet seat so I could sit down without worrying about toilet-AIDS crawling all over me. I had to leave afterwards, made me feel sick and who wants to have the runs on a toilet that you canít even relax on.
