Default Does Fergie need a new right hand man?

Listening to the radio, whilst cooking, and already pundits and fans are bigging up Steve Clark's contribution to the murders efforts. Heard good things in the past about Clark, so it got me thinking. Since Phelan has been number two for most part the footy has either been, "just enough" to turgid despite the team still managing to win things. So the question is does Fergie need a right hand man, who can shake things up with new ideas and/or is his own man?

he was already there so surely nothing was added to the team but lost as the number2 left.

This has nothing at all to do with the lack of investment in the side.

All Phelan's fault. The stupid, balding, short wearing clown.

Not in the same capacity though. The responsibility of turning around to Fergie during a game and saying "I disgree, I think we should............." is something I not sure Phelan brings to the table. Looking back at the kind of characters Kidd, Mclaren, and Queiroz are I believe that was the kind of input they brought to the team. IMO.

Not all his fault. No. But do you think he is the best we could get, because that is the nature of the question?
