That Liverpool midfield 3 is Liverpool's version of Everton's dogs of war
Still can't believe they could win the league with that midfield

Thought Mane was utterly shit throughout and Salah is little more than a goal hanger these days, barely had a kick of note throughout.

Glory? Wouldn't that have got them a draw? Or at best presented a completely different game? They may have got dicked 4-1 had they taken the lead and tried to sit back and play on the break.. Load of £#%&!ing %@#$&!s :£#%&!er:

Nearly 5”... the difference between the post and a goal. Ooooh, we might’ve won if we didn’t hit the post.

Not much in it but City well deserving imo. They are always brave to take the initiative and play. Klopp gets lots of plaudits but he's leaving out £100m worth of midfielders in order to make the game scrappy and hit quick passes to Mane and Salah, many of which were hopeless. He gets the praise when he deserves it but even with the season they're having he didn't back his team to play last night.

sigh....if this had happened to any other team it would be forgotten by now and barely mentioned. But because it happened to english football's sacred cow...the media darlings...we're talking about a decision that was correct as if something controversial happened.

Read the article pal?

Where the former remains contested (with good reason), there is no disputing what happened at the Etihad on Thursday. Or at least not beyond crazed conspiracists who within hours of the final whistle were already talking about shadows and angles and the grand anti-Liverpudlian plot that is geometry

Let them rage and feel outraged. Them failing again this season would be as brilliant as 2013 or whenever it was.

I reckon this "11.77mm from glory" stuff and could be a great reference if they blow it. He already suggested in the article it could go down alongside Stevie's slip. Keep repeating it imo, it'll kill them

Hopefully the current round of piss taking doesn’t give klopp something to use to distract and motivate them, like Fergie would. I’d rather pile on the pressure and wait until they’ve really £#%&!ed up to the point they can’t recover.

I still think they will win it can see City losing at least another 3 games this season and Spurs are just bottlers.

Bracing myself for the worst

Nothing at all that happened last night convinced me that City will over take them. City looked an absolute shadow of the team of last season. They were hanging on at the end there in a way you’d have never seen last season. They’re absolutely petrified of Liverpool whenever they play them.

Put simply, the rest of the teams in this league aren’t anywhere near good enough to ensure Liverpool lose another 3-4 games which is what we’re going to have to pray for.

The only thing that could de rail them are injuries.

Teeth set them up like Mourinho from the start and Van Dyke was playing Fellaini from 80 minutes onwards.

They went into this match with a 7 point lead and no defeats in the league.

Absolute desperation, no creativity.

You would think they were a squad with next to no experience of winning or competing for titles in this country.

Henderson was in a title chase but who would listen to him even if they could understand him?'
