Default Fed up of Private Schoolboys in politics?

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/374907...ep-school/amp/

Quote:
SHADOW Chancellor John McDonnell spent two years at a £12,000-a-year prep school, The Sun can reveal.
The die-hard socialist, who has publicly called for private schools to be abolished, attended posh St Joseph’s College in Ipswich in the late 1960s.

Yet the 65-year-old makes no mention of his links to the school in speeches or biographical entries and is listed only as attending Great Yarmouth Grammar School.
Awks.

Another socialist man of the people.

I dislike JM intensely but he can't be blamed for his parents sending him to a private school.

If he'd sent his own kids to one that would be different.

Maybe he doesn't want to be defined by the school he went to, unlike many of those on the opposite benches.

Maybe he's bloody embarrassed about.

He can't really do anything about it now and probably couldn't then either.

Wouldn't you want to abolish the school you went to as well?

Searching for something that cannot be found.....................

Did you read The Sun before your damascene conversion? I'm going to assume not (I have no record of you previously posting links) So then, is this part of your intellectual awakening to the one true path?

I do feel for the departed irk, it must be so irksome to have jumped ship just as it is coming into dock......
