Members get priority. Think they do 70 day tickets but if it's a hot one queues will start at 8. Then it's one in one out all day. Basically if its 20 or above dont bother. You'll have paid for parking before you realise you're not getting in.

It is jibbable though

Some trees over the far side that are good for climbing, and plenty of ducks and swans to look at

Always an ice cream van parked up as well
Mother took her there last week. Had a three, four and five year old all stuck up a tree crying

Two ways. Walk in like you belong, past the queue, when the lifeguard isnt on the gate.

Or climb over fence behind changing rooms.

Never been the lido there tbh . Always have the beasts with me So suspect that won’t go down well as they turn the pool water black .

There’s a nice castle and walk just inside wales that was good value . Name to follow
Edit chirk

Enjoyed that day out muchly

Packed off my son for a week and dropped him at my Mums. Been a little overprotective of him and this is the first time he's spent more than one night away from home. Didn't blink an eye when I left.

Today was bowling and the beach with my daughter. Amazed she got a strike with her f***ing terrible technique.

I'm some way away from the actual lakes, pal.

But the whole area is a good day out and not that onerous a trip from Mancland.

You got a Gulliver's near you? Matlock Bath one is an alright day out depending on how old your kids are. Only place all 3 of mine can go on all the rides.

Was at Grizedale just the other week. We'll be up October half term, hate it during the Summer, it's heaving.
