The watermelon agenda of the climate commies (green on the outside, red on the inside). Their agenda spells disaster.

Quote:
A major scientific paper, which claimed to have found rapid warming in the oceans as a result of manmade global warming, has been withdrawn after an amateur climate scientist found major errors in its statistical methodology.

The paper, from a team led by Laure Resplandy of Princeton University, had received widespread uncritical publicity in the mainstream media when it was published because of its apparently alarming implications for the planet. However, within days of its publication in October 2018, independent scientist Nic Lewis found several serious flaws.

Yesterday, after nearly a year’s delay, the paper was officially withdrawn.

Let's look at the qualifications of Dr Benny Peiser

Quote:
Born of German parents in Haifa, Israel, in 1957, Peiser's family soon returned to Germany. He grew up in Frankfurt and "spent the first 35 years of his life" in Germany.

Peiser studied political science, English, and sports science at Frankfurt University, receiving a doctorate in cultural studies (Kulturwissenschaften) from that institution in 1993, for an examination of the history, archaeology and natural history of Greek problems at the time of the ancient Olympic Games.

Dr Benny Peiser is director of the Global Warming Policy Foundation, set up by Nigel Lawson (). He has been extensively quoted in the UK media as an 'expert' on global warming, attacking renewables and promoting shale gas despite his lack of academic qualifications in either climate science or energy. In fact, his previous role was as a part-time senior lecturer in sports science at Liverpool John Moores University. Dr Peiser's peer-reviewed publications include an article on on the frequency and consequences of 'cosmic impacts', one on the effects of environmental factors on the Olympic games, and one on how human activity levels vary with the seasons.

Peiser wrote a paper criticising Dr Naomi Oreskes' study which reviewed 928 research papers on climate change, finding they all agreed with the scientific consensus. Peiser claimed that 34 of these "reject or doubt" the scientific consensus for man-made global warming, but later retracted this, admitting that only one did.
So a guy who works for Nigel Lawson, who is mates with Paul Dacre, who provide their own reporting on climate change for The Daily Mail. His doctorate is in Cultural Studies (so f*** all about science or climate or basically anything relevant to actually be an authority on the subject). He was a part-time sports science lecturer.

Without doubt, one of the foremost authorities on the subject, NQAT

Did he write the error strewn report that was withdrawn? Did he withdraw it from the scientific journal? Do his qualifications or the tact that he reported the event make it untrue?

A peer reviewed document was withdrawn, science works like that. It' not like any of the balls on the site you linked isn't taken down when it's shown to be incorrect - so one side is accountable, your side is utterly transparent in it's vested interests.

That’s a ‘no’ then. And the climate science was full of holes too. Understood.
