Some are obvious, we know who they are, but i agree with what Keane said a while back about bluffers; there are some that have conned people into thinking they’re better than they are or ever will be.

Ole also hinted that they couldnt sign their preferred choices for attacking players so preferred to wait rather than move down the list. No idea what the reason is for not signing midfield players is, we’re woefully short and are hamstringing both the attack and defence by not improving the middle.

If we’re looking for a stop gap just bring Ibra back. At the very least he’ll teach James how to play with a proper centre forward and maybe not every single cross will go whizzing into oblivion.

Given we have rashford and martial who need trying properly in that position, I could understand ole not getting a replacement for lukaku if he wanted to give greenwood some opportunities over this season. Midfield was the far bigger issue, and there’s no question ole wanted a few players there.
