I get that

But surely those things won’t last if we’re a complete mess on the pitch and missing out on sponsorship money?

The panic is there, but we’re in debt to the eyeballs and have spent money like #@&%!s. They can’t spend their way out of this.

The brand and money coming in would be even greater if the returns on the pitch were back to the standard of this club.

FSG have owned Liverpool for a decade. Their fans hated them for at least half of the time, if not a bit longer. They famously took on a American baseball strategy of buying a bunch of relatively cheap individuals based on numerical data like Markovic and Moreno who had one decent year at their last club, that summed up to the total cost of what City and Chelsea spent on two genuine top players. Things changed in 2017. Probably when they realised if they don't gamble with Klopp they'll never get that chance again to maximise the brand.

I just can’t understand the thinking behind what we’re doing. It’s great that we’re shipping out ‘the deadwood’ but we’re not replacing them with anyone.
I'm going with the view that the likes of Young (and probably a few others) are being shipped out to reduce the wage bill ahead of commercial penalties and a further reduction in TV monies.

I actually don't see a Summer budget for whoever is in charge unless Pogba and De Gea are sold. Tbh the latter looks a possibility given the form of Henderson, Romero as back up. In fact to the £#%&!ers running the club it should be a no brainer. Justified by giving England's future number one a chance.

Expecting nothing

We've go to remember that Ole actually thinks the likes of Pereira are actually good enough. And thinks Chongy and the rest chomping at the bit will get us through

Imagine this club trying to negotiate 2-3 deals in January? Not a chance.

If you fail to see the progress we’ve made under Ole you must be a clueless tit.
