Pulling out of the dybala deal shouldn’t make the slightest difference, given he wasn’t a planned signing anyway.

Their obsession with saying they’re not in for Fernandes is weird.

Unless, of course, they were never actually in for him. Agents making up stories to promote their clients is not a new thing, but i could see why clubs wouldn’t want their supporters thinking they couldn’t close a deal they were never trying to close in the first place.

Maybe but that may be scarier. Our recruitment went as far as a championship player , slabhead and a rb who has had a good season at palace

Doesn’t really matter. We’re not in for a lot of players united get linked with, sometimes the same player on a regular basis. Never seemed to bother the club enough to comment before.

Following last summer's Fred bonanza!

No wonder Pogba is running for the hills.

I guess at some point enough is enough.

CB and RB were probably our most vulnerable positions. Is there any possibility we may have signed signed two good players to fill those gaps -at a cost of 130m+ - or does that not fit the ‘let’s slag United off for every £#%&!ing thing’ narrative?

I don't think replacing two of our various vulnerabilities is gonna cut it.

We've probably spent iro 200 million over two summers. Our star player wants to leave. And we're playing catch up. Not only to two supremely sorted sides, but Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Biggest club in the world.?

We're not even the biggest club in the north.
