That’s the reality

If it was a great cup to win then why did we sack LvG after winning it
Because he’d only committed to three years and Ed wanted Jose.

Next question.

Good idea and great foresight by Ole in selling Lukaku without bringing in a replacement. Play Rashford in every game will never get injured

He wanted a replacement tbf and said as much in the summer.

That’s on the board.

Again, that (the latter part especially) was of course solely down to the manager.

I think some of you don't fully grasp how this benighted club actually works

If you think that it was his decision then you're naive.

I think it's pretty clear that after 7 years of consistently failing to play in the champions league, the finances are starting to bite.

Our M.O this summer was obviously to use the Lukaku money to fund purchases for Maguire and invest about 65m net.... exactly the same as we did in summer 2018 which saw the last manager have a meltdown.

Woodward and the owners have done the same thing to Ole...

How did you expect us to pay for Maguire?

Exactly. People look at the record profits and automatically assume we're cash rich.

We ain't. We've got massive debt to pay and a whole family of parasites that want their cut of the profits as well.

We are £#%&!ed. We need to spend massive amounts of money to bridge a gap that's become a chasm over the last few years and we can't because our owners don't care.

Absolute disgrace this lad has been allowed to play with a single stress fracture that’s now a double all because we don’t wanna spend money and bring players in. Club is £#%&!ing rotten to the core

Yes, he also has a floating bone in his ankle that hasn’t been sorted. Our medical staff are a £#%&!ing joke. In fact the whole £#%&!ing club is a joke at this point

It’s in Henry Winter’s tweet
Was playing with a single stress fracture in the spine that was made a double fracture during the Wolves game

Beggars belief to risk such an important player with a stress fracture in a run of the mill cup replay
Crazy management

Basically what happens when the squad is so thin you can't give any players decent rest or rotation.

The damage was done last summer when woodward and the owners decided investing the bare minimum was enough

Told you he was injured end of last season/beginning of this, was clear as day confidence and form went out the window. Fair play to the lad for what he’s managed to do this season

Weird how some of the same people (I don’t necessarily mean on here) slating the club for not sorting out a ‘floating bone’ on the ankle (very small injury tbf) are the same ones slating Pogba for sorting his ankle out before it becomes a big issue.

The stress fracture thing is quite odd, you don’t get a stress fracture from a single incident, so I’m not quite sure how that challenge in the wolves game has given him a 2nd one

It was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Surgery is going well btw.
