Quote:
“I felt during part of last season that the country wanted Liverpool to be champion,” he starts out. “The media, the press: a lot was to put Liverpool there. Nobody was saying they were in a privileged situation because they didn’t play Champions League. Nobody was speaking about a lot, a lot of decisions that helped them win important and crucial points. And I felt that day was a day that was ready for their celebration.

“I used the word with my players. I said – we are going to be the clowns, they want us to be the clowns in the circus. The circus is here. Liverpool are to be champions.”

I interject: “You weren’t having that, were you?”

He fixes me with a look "no"

They want us to be Leicester's clowns. We can't be having that.

Disagree. Obviously there's going to be a lot of cringe in the air but they're not bad winners imo.

I doubt they'll do it this weekend tbh.

I'm delighted for them. One on the eye for the lazy fat cats who think they're entitled to perma-success.

A victory for teamwork, hard work and sticking to what one is good at.

I'm up for a Cardy for Vardy,

Paint a blue tooth for Huth.

I'll drink water all day for Drinkwater

Dance like Bez for Mahrez.

Might buy some Foxes glacier mints for this weekend

Well said jez. Victory for the little man and victory for my favourite manager in the prem by a mile.

Shame that the linekars can celebrate but each club has a set of arses who follow them and I can easily ignore that.

Interesting the shameful southern bias on this forum - understand it from sparky et al who wants Spurs to win because winthorpe (is that his name? basically someone who sounds like they're a butler) would be a bit teary if they didn't but strange from the likes of bunks. Bunks go London! buster.

They just don't register on my hate scale - was even considering going tomorrow with a giant foam finger just to feel part of their gang.

Can see a draw tomorrow but hopefully they'll wrap it up in their next match.

London biased ? Cannot stand the place...Spurs however were the football choice...

You pathetic under dog lovers are the sort who get hayfever, picked last, put the better unleaded, put a huge poppy on your rad cover, finish last, spend parties in the kitchen, rate UK short breaks...

Just odd grey folk that smirk at karma and enjoy £1 grand national bets..

Probably been in the same job for years, socialise with workmates, chat football, always do an extra boiled egg..."may as well it's boiling anyway.....giggle"

Cannot fathom any true life winner not wanting Spurs, the Tottenham
Hotspurs to not have won it...a true attacking club, built on FA cups and Trail blazing S American football...the boys from Lane..

Not particularly arsed who wins it (if we're out of it) aslong as they don't win it at Old Trafford. Arsenal still sing about winning it here.

I would be amazed if they win it next season, they've been very lucky this season.
If they £#%&!ed it up, it would be pretty hilarious but I can't see it happening.

Again, having a go at the little man, England's soft centre - such an easy target. Mate, not everyone has your confidence to wear their jeans with the knees cut out and ugg boots or whatever the look is now.

Plenty of folk don't enjoy getting sneered at in oi polloi because their Norwegian harbour master jacket in the wrong length.

Why not a victory for the nondescript, the bhs shopper, the Coldplay listener?

Never liked em, and it feels like the novelty value has worn off before it's even happened tbh. The only thing remotely likable about them is their manager, and that's in a sort sad, pittyingMr Bean kind of way. Still keeping eveything crossed for Spurs. #coys
