Good to see so many big smiles and good natured hair tousles during the match

Tommers 100% meant that pass

Pleased for young James

LOLed at Rashford leaving two Leeds defenders on their arses during the run up to the pen

Fred keeps on improving

It's definitely on in this most mental of seasons

He was/is ace.

He’s always been good though, but because of who gave him his debut many people find it hard to like him.

Some cracking takes on him in the old thread

https://www.utdforum.com/forum/showt...cott+The Scottish Player

Has to play in the B2B role and not holding midfield, it’s his natural position.

I find it difficult to accept him at centre half because of who gave him his debut there.

If Utd are true contenders for the title then let's see how we navigate the fixture list over the next week and how we come out of it. that's going to tell us a lot and how or if Ole dips into the market in january will tell us if Ed and the Glazers feel the same way

Isn’t it a contract offer for when his Bayern contract expires in the summer?

Don't know if it is just a coincidence, but I think one of the biggest pluses during Solskjaer's reign has been the squad building. Might just be that a change in policy coincided with his arrival, but it feels like we're getting towards a team that reflects what the manager wants. Jose's team never felt fully like a Jose team, Van Gaal the same. Ole inherited a squad with players from four different managers, but it's starting to feel like his squad. I reckon that's the first time we can say that since Ferguson left.

It was one of the main reasons we needed to stick with a manager after Jose. Everyone said it at the time, and even if Solskjaer isn't here for years and years (which I believe he will be), it would at least be nice to see a squad put together under one manager, rather than thrown together under multiple managers with massively contrasting styles. There's still some way to go, but with the players we seem to be actively trying to get rid of, and those who have contracts expiring in the Summer, things are looking good. Granted Phil Jones will still be under contract until 2023, but by next Summer I think we'll have a squad that most people would be happy with.

Or to put it another way, ON.

He’s on the right track to proving me wrong and I hope to hold my hands up come the end of the season.

On-e Gunnar Solskjaer.

Stank of the 2-2 at Anfield in 99. That point won us the title.

We need 2 quality signings in Jan.

The guy CM from RB, Sabitzer is absolutely perfect for us.

And also from RB, the young centre back klostermann.

We'll never win a major trophy relying on Fred, The Scottish Player or lindelof.

Need to upgrade martial and Rashford if we wanna win titles imo, Mane or Salah score those two Rashford chances today and they coast to victory...
