If we had a top class foundation at centreback I wouldn't worry too much about not having a top notch keeper, especially as this fella is gk for the argentina national team anyway. But we haven't, have we.

had to double check that wasn't a pure post then

rooney's role this season has been stated by him and LVG as being the main goalscorer hasn't it? they've openly talked about it at news conference.
