Are you serious? This has been going on a lot longer than just 'recently'.

And today there was no need to try to round the keeper. He tried the exact same thing agaisnt Arsenal. And guess what happened? Yep, you guessed it...

As mentioned by S/Side, how much praise does he really deserve for chasing down the ball when we have three in midfield? It can get to the point when United have no focal point whatsoever.

Bolder teams than Portsmouth would have played further up the field forcing us to play a more direct game which doesnt suit us at all.

why Ruud. why not someone who scores goals and creates too...

its a myth that you need a "ruud" if you want a striker scoring more goals.

Ronaldo scored more than Ruud. I presume no one here thinks having a rooney type player is better than having ronaldo type player.

currently benzema comes to mind.

We need a striker with a bit of composure. That's a fact.

I wish folk would stop wishing for Benzema. Not going to happen.

Yes more Portuguese please. If the interest in a right back isn't enough lets sign a Portuguese striker.

A foward that could finish? we had one at the club until he moved to spain because of lack of first team opportunities.

Not doing much at the moment though.

Anyway what we need is a striker with pace. That's the main thing.

A striker with composure is of utmost importance in the Summer. As for who? £#%&! knows. Huntelaar maybe.

I've never been a big fan of Huntelaar, he's a finisher but I always saw him as a bit one-dimensional.

Though given some of Rooney's finishing of late, I would probably take him.

Benzema in any case, is about to sign a new contract at Lyon.
