did well this afternoon didn't he. Was everywhere.

Hard to judge them properly in such a testimonial like game but they all did well.

Looks a proper player

Great athlete, really good technically, reads the game well and composed

Pretty good combo that

Want to see him get more game time at centre back

he has played a handful of first team games this season and has not looked out of place, all the games played in midfield, has looked comfortable on the ball, has an eye for a pass and his proper position is center back, has all the tools to become a main stay of a successful Utd team..

Wasn't he getting slaughtered after the Southampton game? Thought that was a bit harsh, he was in a weird role where it's hard to impress. Did well against Arse, was a pretty impressive debut. Long shot but it'll be great if the answer to our defensive issues is right under our noses

Very assured today - didn't seem to phase him one bit. Potential real talent.

Looks a great talent

He's done really well considering his age and the fact he's playing out of position

Looks composed on the ball and isn't afraid to receive it in tough situations. ()

He is a teenager and looks light years ahead of the likes of Smalling and Jones... A class act......

Was he? Can't say I really noticed, then again very little of that "game" has lodged in the memory

For kids that weren't ready, they did better than the usual mob who are over-ripe. Mitchell looks quick, no wonder he's not begging Shaw to stay.

I think it's much harder for a kid in midfield as its the decision making role and there's always a senior player available for a short pass - so a tendency to play safe.
Be really interesting to see how the develop - remember thinking terry Cooke was going to be the next Steve Coppell.

Smalling & Jones looked class acts in their early days too.

Smalling motm against City (first full start?? ..or near enough anyway) ..Jones was going to be our "best player ever" according to somebody or other.

Let's just see how it goes.
